Local Triathlon Action Spokane & CDA

 Local Triathlon Action:

I’ll put our local triathlete’s up against any area’s triathletes.  Per Capita, we have got other places beat.  I will include Coeur d’Alene and Spokane as one area.  To top it off we have winter and get very little riding outside if any before we get to go race other athletes in warmer climates. Each year we have so many local athletes that qualify for National competitions in Olympic distance and many who quality for worlds in half and full Ironman events.  We even have Exterra Armature World Champion’s.   I would like to congratulate the winners so far this year:  These people continue to inspire me to work hard.  Not only do they go fast, they have fun doing it.  They smile, laugh and just plain have fun.  (Sorry if I missed anyone, let me know and I will add you in)

Ironman Arizona: Lora Jackson 3d Female Age group and Kona Qualifier.

Ironman 70.3 Panama: Megan Hoefer, 1st place female in her age group and a slot to 70.3 world championships

Oceanside 70.3: Susan Ensley 1st place female in her age group and a slot to 70.3 world championships Erika Zimmer 6th place age group Megan Hoefer 9th place age group

We have lots of local pro’s:  Haley Cooper-Scott,  Annie Warner-Phish, Brian Hadley, Daric Garcia, and Josh Hadway.

Locally we have over 20 triathlons from sprint to Ironman Events.  Within driving distance we have even more.  You don’t have to travel far to race everything from Sprint, Olympic, half, Ironman and Even Exterra Races.

Each year we see new faces to the sport who just want to do their first triathlon and have fun.  These are the people that make my job the most fun.  They have so much energy and are really fun to help.  They have so many questions and are so eager to learn all they can.

We at Fitness Fanatics are committed to sponsoring, teaching, volunteering and promoting the sport of triathlons from kids to adults.  We live breath and sleep triathlon. If you have question or need some help come into Fitness Fanatics Triathlon shop and talk to one of our triathlon experts.  We have people who have been there, done that, and are willing to help you do the same.
