Lake Coeur D'Alene Water Temperature: Current Lake Temp
Courtesy of the USGS, this lake water temperature sensor is located at the outlet of Lake Coeur D'Alene just inside the Spokane River.  The temperatures are listed in degrees Celsius.

Mt. Spokane Nordic Trail Info:

Current conditions on Mt. Spokane, Snotel: Quartz Peak.  Snotel has a remote weather station right in the middle of our Nordic Trails on Mt. Spokane.  The remote station has sensors which track current snow depth and current temperature.  Every hour the remote station on Quartz Peak uploads it's data to the Snotel website for public viewing.  Scroll to the bottom of the page for the most current, up to the hour, conditions.

Trail Map: This is the newest Trail Map which includes nearly 10 additional kilometers this year!

Grooming: For the daily Nordic Trail Grooming Report call (509) 238-4025.  The trails are groomed every day except Tuesday and Wednesday

Nordic Trail Fees:  You must have a valid Sno-Park permit to use the Nordic trails within Mt. Spokane State Park.  For more information about Washington State Sno-Parks visit: www.parks.wa.gov/winter/

You can purchase your Sno-Park permit from the Mount Spokane State Park Rangers, or from Fitness Fanatics.  A full season Washington State Sno-Park Permit is $82, for parking and Nordic trail use.  A Sno-Park Day Pass for parking and Nordic trail use is $21.

You can also purchase your Sno-Park permit online.  A full season's pass is $80, and a Day-Pass is $20 online.  The web address for online Sno-Park permits is www.parks.wa.gov/winter/permits/.

www.selkirknordic.org/:  The Selkirk Nordic Ski Education Foundation (SNSEF) is dedicated to expanding Nordic skiing in the Inland Northwest. The foundation helps organize and support skiing programs for skiers of all ages.  SNSEF is your source for the Nordic Kids, Nordic Teens and Juniors programs.

www.spokanelanglauf.org/:  The 32nd Annual Langlauf 10K Cross Country Ski Race will be on Sunday February 14, 2010.  Fitness Fanatics will be up on Mt. Spokane with free demo-skis to try out on Saturday February 13.  A Toko factory representative will be offering a free Nordic Ski Waxing Clinic at Fitness Fanatics on Saturday afternoon, February 13.
